President-elect Donald Trump has announced the inclusion of two familiar faces, Alex Wong and Sebastian Gorka, in his national security team as he prepares for his second term in office.

Sebastian Gorka will take on the role of Deputy Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Counterterrorism. Meanwhile, Alex Wong has been named Assistant to the President and Principal Deputy National Security Advisor, according to a statement released by Trump's transition team.

"Since 2015, Dr. Gorka has been a dedicated advocate for the America First Agenda and the MAGA Movement, previously serving as a strategist in the first Trump administration," the announcement stated.

Gorka, a "legal immigrant" originally from the United Kingdom, brings with him over three decades of experience in national security. His past contributions were highlighted as crucial to Trump's initial tenure.

Alex Wong, who played a significant role in Trump's first term, previously served as Deputy Special Representative for North Korea. He later moved to the State Department as Deputy Assistant Secretary for East Asian and Pacific Affairs. Trump credited Wong with assisting in the arrangements for his high-profile summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during his first term.
