Tulika's father Satbir Mann was killed due to business rivalry. Tulika is the eldest of two sisters. Tulika's mother Amrita always supported her daughter. Tulika Mann had defeated New Zealand's Sydney Andrews in the semi-final match and made it to the final. In the final, the same bet was placed by her opponent on Tulika and even after going beyond 1 point, Tulika suffered a defeat and she had to settle for a silver medal. However, this achievement is also very important.

In the final match, Tulika suffered a defeat at the hands of Scotland's Sarah Edlington. Tulika played brilliantly in this match. But, due to the slow movement of her body, she missed the gold medal. Mother Amrita told the media that Tulika was only 2 years old when her husband left. Initially, Tulika was admitted to a club near the house due to her busy job. Today, Tulika has reached here sweating it out from there. Tulika's mother said that she wanted her (Tulika) to concentrate on her studies, but she was interested in judo.
