Actress Tunisha Sharma allegedly died by suicide on 24th December. The actress hanged herself on the set of a serial in Vasai in Maharashtra's Palghar district. The 20-year-old went to the washroom on the set and did not return for a long time. When the door was broken down, she was found hanging inside. Sheezan Mohammed Khan, Co-star of actor Tunisha Sharma was arrested after a case of abutment to suicide was registered against him.

Now, Tunisha Sharma’s friend  and former co-star Sonia Singh revealed that the Ali Baba actress had been troubled for a couple of weeks, resulting in less communication. She said, “When we met on December 14, she claimed that Sheezan had said he needed some space and did not like me talking about love all the time. I explained that such things happen in a relationship.” 

Sonia herself has featured in various films. The actress further said Tunisha was short of money. She said, “Tunisha often would not have money. Very recently, she asked me to lend her Rs 3000 and I asked her what had happened that she did not even have the amount.”’  She also said, “Tunisha had started considering Sheezan’s family her own. She would call them Ammi and Appi, which sounded okay to me because she was considering the family of the one she loved as her own.”

On the career front the actress started working with ‘Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap’ and later featured in shows such as ‘Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat’, ‘Gabbar Poonchwala’, ‘Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh’, ‘Internet Wala Love’ and ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’. She has also featured  ‘Fitoor’, ‘Baar Baar Dekho’, ‘Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh’, and ‘Dabangg 3’. She film and featured in ‘Pyaar Ho Jaayega’, ‘Nainon Ka Ye Rona’ and ‘Tu Baithe Mere Samne’.
