Apart from solving crime, one of the longest running hit shows CID was Dialogue which was associated with Daya and ACP Pradyuman. Talking to the media, Shivaji Satam alias ACP Pradyumna revealed how the dialogue finally came inside the show and became so popular. He said the dialogue was not put as planned on the show but once he was discussing something with the creator of the show, his creator loved the way he ran his hand and the creator asked Shivaji to play the role.
He said that "one day I was discussing with the creator of the show and they were constantly watching me. Then I told them what happened. Then he said to me, "The way you were explaining now, what you were telling by hand is what I want you to do. Can you bring it into the role of ACP?" Then, since then, Shivaji made this dialogue implementation on the show and today the line is on everyone's face. Discussing the same, Shivaji said, "CID was never a reality show or docudrama. It was a fantasy. If you have to complete your episode in one hour or 45 minutes, somewhere you also have to jump in the middle of the episode.
