There's good news for all of Babul Supriyo's fans. The singer-turned-politician, who made appearances in Tarun Majumder's 'Chander Bari,' is ready to perform in a new role for the audience. Babul will soon be featured in a Bengali television show as the male lead.
The look test took place earlier this week. Raj Chakraborty, the director and producer of the upcoming drama, is eager to cast Babul as the male protagonist. Babul will star with a well-known Bengali television actress. Debchandrima Singha Roy is expected to play the show's female protagonist. Debchandrima was last seen in the second season of 'Sanjher Baati.'
The next programme will tell an interesting narrative of a young girl who falls in love with a much older man. Babul was most recently featured as a special guest on Raj Chakraborty's reality show 'Sangeet Er Mahajuddho.' The two then went to Ustad Rashid Khan's wedding anniversary. Abhijeet Bhattacharya, the Sangeet Er Mahajuddho judge, was also present at the event. During the party, Raj emphasised his desire to work with Babul, despite the fact that the project was not yet finalised. Babul also had an appearance on the Rachna Banerjee-hosted TV show "Didi No.1." His wife also appeared in the 'Didi No. 1' special episode.
