New Delhi: TVS Motor Company, a prominent Indian automaker, has recently released a teaser announcing the launch of a new scooter in India on August 23. While the vehicle's name remains undisclosed, reports suggest that it could be the production version of the Creon concept, which was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo.
The upcoming scooter is expected to be backed by an electric powertrain, positioning it as a premium offering.
As the electric vehicle (EV) market gains momentum in India, numerous automakers are venturing into this segment, and TVS is no exception. Currently, the company only sells one electric scooter in the country, namely the iQube, which has emerged as the second highest-selling model.
