Twin bomb attacks triggered Istanbul; 29 killed, 166 injured

Istanbul: On Saturday night, twin suicide bomber attacks struck Istanbul soccer stadium, killing Twenty-nine people and injuring 166 people.

Turkey's Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said today, “suicide and car bombs targeted police officers, killing 27 of them along with two civilians. Also, 10 people had been detained in connection with the terrorist attack.” The car bomb attack was noticed outside the Vodafone Arena football stadium.

Thousands of people addressed the match which was held between Bursaspor and Besiktas, and luckily got finished two hours before the blast, lowering the death toll.
