Jaipur: Elections are being held today for 16 Rajya Sabha seats spread over four states. This includes Haryana, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Karnataka. The stir intensifies with the start of voting. Chief Minister Gehlot has said that the BJP has conducted the elections without any reason. In Maharashtra, allies Shiv Sena and NCP have clashed.
The contest in all the four states is fierce as parties in all the places have fielded more candidates in the assembly than their legislative might.
