Washington: Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden in the US presidential election is close to the 270 electoral votes needed to reach the White House, and has made it difficult for President Donald Trump to win in Wisconsin and Michigan.  Donald Trump has been tweeting continuously, but many of his tweets have been removed from the page by Twitter.

In a Twitter, Trump wrote, "some or all of the content shared in this tweet is disputed and may be misleading in relation to the manner of election or any other process." Twitter has further stated that 'You cannot use Twitter's services for the purpose of manipulating or interfering in elections or other civic processes. This includes posting or sharing content that may confuse people's participation about when, where or how to participate in a civil process. In addition, we can further reduce the level of visibility of tweets with inaccurate or misleading information regarding civil processes to provide additional context.'

Twitter has cited the Citizen Integrity Policy stating that 'public talks on Twitter are never more important than elections and other civic events. Any attempt to undermine the integrity of our service is antithetical to our fundamental rights and undermines the core principles of freedom of expression on which our company is based. '
