New Delhi: Twitter, the platform which is procrastinating over the new IT rules, has again displayed its Left ideology. Twitter has blocked the account of a user simply because he called Khalistani Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale a "terrorist". A tweet from a Twitter handle called Shivam_h9 read, "The top religious unit of SGPC and Golden Temple has always been an anti-Hindu terrorist has stood in support of Bhindranwale".

The user further wrote that "In the last four decades, Khalistanis have killed more than 80,000 Hindus. Hindus should look into it and stop loving these ungrateful ones unilaterally. Twitter then took immediate action and closed the account. When an appeal was made to restore it, the Twitter refused to do so citing hate behaviour.

The tweet was in response to the statement of Akal Takht acting Harpreet Singh. The acting Jathedar had defended Bhindranwale posters and slogans in support of Khalistan at the Golden Temple on the 37th anniversary of Operation Bluestar.
