Twitter suspends 'Vaishali Poddar' account for raising 1 crore for Rinku Sharma's family

New Delhi: The social media platform Twitter has closed the Twitter handle of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vaishali Poddar. While tweeting, Delhi BJP spokesperson Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga said that Twitter has acted without giving any reason. He has also appealed to trend the 'Bring Back Vaishali' hashtag in his tweet. Vaishali Poddar was involved in a campaign to collect money for his family after the ruthless killing of Rinku Sharma in Mangolpur, Delhi.

It was he who had appealed to a website called 'Crowdcash' to provide financial help for Rinku Sharma's family, which was supported by former minister Kapil Sharma. Under this campaign, an amount of 1 crore rupees was deposited and handed over to the family of Rinku Sharma. Vaishali Poddar was continuously promoting this campaign through Twitter and was also demanding justice for Rinku Sharma's family.

 

 Vaishali Poddar has also gone to Tunisia as the Indian representative. She held the post of District Vice President in BJYM and District IT Incharge in BJP. She has also been a state executive member of BJYM Delhi. She was also present in the tribute meeting organized in memory of Rinku Sharma. There's no official reason that has been given by Twitter as yet why Vaishali's account has been suspended.
