All the social networking sites have the default icons for the profile pictures; this default icon is displayed when the user doesn’t upload his profile picture. Till this time, Twitter used to have an egg like a symbol as a default image but now, the social media giant has changed the symbol.

As per the reports, the new symbol will be of a human-like design, as Facebook has. The image will be placed according to the gender, but this time users cannot change the color of the default icon, it would be in permanent gray color.

The Twitter design team posted a blog, which reads, “We noticed that some people kept the egg default profile photo because they thought it was fun and cute, but we want people to use this space to show us who they are!”
