USA: Elon Musk has been trying to get more content producers to use Twitter. Making money off of their content is the best way to entice them to any social media platform.

Twitter and Musk are aware of that. The owner of Twitter has thus declared that the company will begin compensating creators for ads displayed in their replies.

The difficulties Twitter has with advertising are well known. Since Musk took control of the platform, advertising revenue has significantly decreased. 90% of Twitter's earnings used to come from advertising, but over the past few months, the company has consistently fallen short of its sales goals. Twitter might once again become a favourite among advertisers if it can draw more creators to the platform.

Only verified creators (those with a blue tick) will receive a share of the money under Twitter's new ad revenue sharing model. Musk stated in a tweet that only ads served to verified users would be taken into account. The initial payment block will be $5 million. This is the first time that Twitter will pay its creators directly.

In February of this year, Musk made his first mention of paying creators a portion of ad revenue. He made it clear at the time that it only applied to advertisements that appeared in their reply threads. But since then, we haven't heard anything specific about it. At least up until this point. The change will make Twitter a more tolerant platform for creators.

For not giving creators a share of ad revenue, Twitter has long faced criticism. The new choice is a wise move in the right direction. The ability to profit from their work will encourage content producers to produce and publish more. If there is a rise in high-quality content, creators and advertisers will swarm to the platform.

The new programme on Twitter gives verified creators a tremendous opportunity. They can profit from this in a variety of ways. For instance, they can develop responses that are designed to draw advertisements, advertise their responses on other platforms, and even work with other creators. For Twitter creators, who also receive payment for subscriptions, this is an additional source of income.
