Two students in Goa who went for study tour drowned on the Candolim beach.

Goa: The students of Mudra Institution communication, Ahmedabad as per the reports along with their faculty went to Goa for a study tour. But, unfortunately, a sad incident took place with the two students there on Thursday morning. 

Six friends went for swimming on the Candolim beach at around 03:00 a.m. in the morning. Anuja Susan and Gurram Chenchu Sai were pulled into the water due to a strong wave.

The 23-year-old Anuja Susan Paul, a resident of Chennai, was immediately washed ashore on the beach. She was shifted to the PHC, Candolim, but was declared dead.

While, The second student Gurram Chenchu Sai who was 25 years old, a resident of Andhra Pradesh, was fished out of the sea water.

The family members of both the deceased are informed and the post-mortem will be conducted in the Hospital.
