Kanker: Two bears have died under mysterious circumstances in village Saravandi of Dudhwa area under Narharpur tehsil of Kanker district of Chhattisgarh. The dead bears are said to be only six months old. The post-mortem of the dead body was done by the Forest Department, but the cause of death has not yet been ascertained. According to the information, two bears were found dead in the enclosure of Narayan Sahu, a resident of Sarawandi.

The sarpanch reported the incident to the forest department. The forest department team reached the spot and examined the dead bears. The bodies of both the bears were taken to Narharpur for postmortem where their postmortem was done. When family members went for defecation on Saturday morning, the bear's two children were found dead in Bari, after which they informed the sarpanch. On giving information, Deputy Ranger DK Shrey of Dudhwa region has said that the investigation has revealed that among the dead bears are a male and a female, whose age is about six months. It died at around one o'clock at night. The post-mortem was sent to Narharpur, but the post-mortem report has not come yet. Only after the report comes, we will know what is the reason behind the death of both the bears.
