Bangalore: The political crisis is once again deepening in the state after the meeting of two former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs in Karnataka with former CM Kumaraswamy. BJP MLAs Umesh Katti and Golhatti Shekhar met Kumaraswamy late on Tuesday. After this, both MLAs wanted to meet Congress leader and former CM Siddaramaiah on Wednesday, but they were not given time for this.

According to sources, during the meeting with Kumaraswamy, Umesh Katti and Golhatti Shekhar of BJP discussed the current political situation in Karnataka and the political crisis prevailing. Recently, the cabinet was expanded in Karnataka, in which the defected leaders were included by CM BS Yeddyurappa in their cabinet. The old BJP leaders could not find a place in it, due to which now they are seen adopting the attitude of revolt.

BJP MLAs have opened a front against CM BS Yeddyurappa for not being given a ministerial post in the Karnataka government. It is being told that dissatisfaction within the party is visible in the BJP government when the rebels from the Congress are made ministers. If sources are to be believed, their years of service to BJP MLAs were ignored and Congress rebels were given ministerial posts at their expense.
