Lakhisarai: In a strange incident, two sons clashed over the funeral of a woman after her death in Bihar's Lakhisarai. The incident took place in Jankidih village under the Chanan police station area. Actually, the woman who died has two sons and a daughter. The first son is a Muslim while his younger son and daughter are Hindus. The woman was earlier a Muslim but later changed her religion from Raika Khatoon to Rekha Devi.

When Rekha Devi, a Muslim-turned-Hindu woman, died, a dispute broke out between the sons over her funeral. While the elder son wanted to cremate his mother according to Muslim rituals, the younger son wanted to give the mother a funeral according to Hindu rituals. Seeing the dispute between the two sons growing over the funeral, people informed the police. On the spot, ASP Imran Masood, Chanan station house officer Rubykant Kachhap along with their team reached the spot and resolved the dispute between the two brothers.
