Hyderabad: In a tragic accident, two business partners and childhood friends lost their lives on Tuesday night while returning home in a road accident under the Saifabad police limit.  The deceased, Mohammed Shahid (23) and Mohammed Sultan (20), both were residents of Borabanda and childhood friends.

Saifabad police said that they were going back home in a motorcycle at around 10.30 pm from Sultan Bazaar area. They met with a head-on collision with another two-wheeler near the women police station (central crime station) in Saifabad and lost control and hit a divider. The duo had suffered severe head injuries and died on spot.

According to police, Shahid and Sultan suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot. The accident occurred at around 10.30pm, the duo was not wearing a helmet and died on the spot after sustaining serious head injuries. The person driving the Activa, Ali Siddiqui, also sustained a head injury and is undergoing treatment at a private hospital. said the police officer. The bodies of the deceased have been handed over to their families after a postmortem at Osmania General Hospital. A case was registered under section 304-A (causing death by negligence) of IPC.
