Recently a train rammed into a passenger car at a railway crossing at an unmanned railway gate in the Dhubri region of Assam in a shocking incident. The incident occurred on Friday, February 18th, in the Boniamari region of Golakganj, in the Dhubri district of Assam.

According to accounts, the tragedy occurred when a speeding demon train collided with the vehicle at a Boniamari railway crossing. As a result of the train's violent crash, Alto's four-wheeler was severely damaged. According to reports, the train was travelling from Siliguri, West Bengal, to New Bongaigaon at the time of the accident.

The train was coming from one direction, and the Alto vehicle was trying to cross the railway crossing before the train arrived. There was no rail gate at the railway crossing where the tragedy occurred on Friday evening, according to sources. After being notified of the event, police officers arrived on the scene. Dilwar Hussain, the driver of the Alto car, has been identified, and two individuals are likely to be travelling in the vehicle, according to locals. Because the car was mowed down by the train, the two people inside are believed to be dead.

Meanwhile, officials are currently conducting a rescue operation for those who are trapped inside the car as a result of the accident. According to reports, an excavator was deployed to carry out more rescue operations. Similar accidents continue to occur at numerous unauthorised railway crossings, resulting in significant loss of life and property; hence, a rail gate is a must-have in such regions to prevent such tragedies.
