SAMBHAL: Two headless bodies of men from the Bulandshahar village of Kaivalna have been found in the Rajpura area of the Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh.

The police are currently looking for the heads of the dead that were found during the past two days. Police reports claim that both men were killed after being allegedly kidnapped on Saturday night by four persons from Kaivalna.
Shlok Kumar, a senior superintendent of police in Bulandshahar, said that Durgesh Sharma, Mukul Kumar, and Lata Sharma have all been taken into custody (mother of Durgesh). On Saturday night, Bhupendra Kumar, 30, and his cousin Jagdish, also known as Bhura Singh, 25, vanished.

Following a complaint from Naresh Singh, a case was opened at the Salempur police station under section 364 (kidnapping). He revealed that his nephew Jagdish and son Bhupendra had been missing since the nights of October 1 and 2.

According to the SSP, during questioning of the three arrested suspects, they admitted that Bhupendra Kumar had extramarital affairs with Lata Sharma. Both had been observed by Durgesh in an awkward situation. Bhupendra Kumar and Jagdish were invited to his home by Durgesh, Mukul, and Tushar Sharma.

They assaulted the pair until they passed out. Then, the SSP said, they drove Bhupendra and Bhura to a secluded spot in Rajpura, cut their heads, bagged them, and dumped them into the Ganga.

They threw bodies at two different places in the vicinity, according to Kumar. Sambhal police found Jagdish's body on October 2, while Bulandshahar police found Bhupendra Kumar's body on Tuesday in the Rajpura area.
The police said that the accused demanded Rs 5 crore as ransom by making a call from the mobile of deceased Bhupendra to portray the incident as that of kidnapping.

The SSP said, when the accused Durgesh was carried to the Kailwan forest, where he had hidden a sharp-edged weapon and a point 315 bore country handgun, he fired from the pistol at the police and attempted to run. In self-defense, the police opened fire, wounding Durgesh in the leg with a bullet. He is now a patient at the medical centre.
