Aashay Verma and Priyanka Prabhakara, the two Indian Basketball players are hand picked to join in a 67-strong international group of boys and girls for the NBA and FIBA's third annual Basketball without Borders (BWB) Global Camp in New Orleans, USA.

Nike is involved which will be the official partner of BWB Global Camp, scheduled from February 17 to 19.
The two Indian players, Verma and Prabhakara, are characterized as the former one 17 in age is 7"1' and plays from centre while the latter one is 5"10' tall who belongs to Kerala.

Brooks Meek, NBA Vice President, International Basketball Operations and Head of Elite Basketball quoted, "The Basketball without Borders Global Camp is a great opportunity for the top male and female prospects from around the world to compete against one another, learn directly from NBA and FIBA players, legends, and coaches, and experience the excitement of NBA All-Star,"

"The Basketball without Borders program was founded on the belief that basketball brings young players from different backgrounds together and transcends cultural boundaries," he added on.

Activities on the camp like movement efficiency, positional skill development, shooting and skills competitions, 5-on-5 games, and daily life skills seminars on health will be led by the players and coaches for the campers.
At the end, one boy and one girl will be given a recognition of BWB Global Camp MVPs.
