Haryana and Punjab have made major changes in their police departments. Haryana government has issued transfer and appointment orders of 37 HPS officers with immediate effect. Many HPS transfers have also been cancelled. Two IPS and five PPS officers have been transferred in Punjab.

ACP of Panchkula, Vijay Deswal, now the DSP of Kanina, 37 HPS, has been transferred by the Haryana Government on Friday evening. With immediate effect, transfer and appointment orders of 37 HPS officers have been issued. Many HPS transfers have also been cancelled. ACP Vijay Deswal of Panchkula will now be DSP in Kanina, Mahendragarh. Joginder Sharma, the cricketer who won the T20 World Cup in the last over against Pakistan, will continue to hold the post of DSP in Hisar. He was transferred to Pihowa, which the government has cancelled. Gajendra Kumar will continue as ACP in Faridabad, his transfer has been cancelled. Baljit Singh will remain posted in Haryana Human Rights Commission, his transfer orders have also been cancelled.

Baljinder Singh 4th Battalion will take over the responsibility of DSP in HAP Madhuban. Dalip Singh DSP Kaithal, Atma Ram DSP Shahabad, Surendra Singh DSP Tawadu, Shamsher Singh DSP Yamunanagar, Pradeep DSP Homeguard Haryana, Tahir Hussain DSP Narwana, Jitendra Singh DSP Kaithal, Sanjeev Kumar will be ACP Gurugram. Also, Jagdish Kumar has been posted as DSP in the 2nd Battalion HAP Madhuban. Jagat Singh will be the DSP of Ellenabad. His transfer orders have also been cancelled. Chandra Pal has been posted as DSP in Ferozepur Jhirka. Gurmail Singh will take charge of DSP in Pihowa. Bhagat Ram DSP Narnaund, Rajinder Singh will be DSP Jagadhari.
