New Delhi: Two sisters who have come from Madhya Pradesh to Delhi have been arrested by the South District police. The pair of these two sisters were often sitting in search of a spot like banks, markets, temples and similar crowded places in Delhi and adjoining areas, and they were able to steal and escape from place very easily. Their business of stealing was very strong during the weddings and festive seasons.

According to information received, the accused have been identified as Madhya Pradesh residents Lalita (25) and Damini (22). On November 5 and 6, 2019, the two had stolen Rs 50-50,000 targeting two people who had withdrawn money from the bank. The police have recovered the money from both. As the police said, these two looks for banks, temples and other crowded places for prey. Both the accused have been identified and captured from CCTV footage.

How the thief sisters exposed: On the basis of information, South District Deputy Commissioner of Police Atul Kumar Thakur said that 50,000 rupees of youth were stolen in Kotla Mubarakpur on 5th November 2019. The young man had withdrawn the rupee from the bank. Similarly, on November 6, 2019, the husband and his wife also withdrew Rs 50,000 from Bank of India.

It is reported that the two went for darshan at the Dharmashila temple in Chattarpur. Someone in the temple stole their bucks. During the investigation, two women were seen in both the places when cctv footage was mined in both the places. The police then started searching for the two. Last Saturday, the police arrested both the accused from the press enclave, Pushpa Vihar. and money was recovered. Both confirmed that they are sisters and married. Both came Madhya Pradesh to Delhi and took a rented room or a flat and then went out for theft.
