Two more accused were arrested on Wednesday in connection with the attack at senior BJP leader Gopi Krishna Nema’s house. Moreover, names of eight more persons were added in the FIR and a bounty of Rs 10000 was announced on the arrest of an accused named Manohar Verma.
ASP Rajesh Vyas said that during the investigation, names of eight people including Manohar Verma of Raoji Bazar area of the city were also added in the FIR. Manohar was the conspirator of the incident so the police also announced a reward of Rs 10000 on his arrest on Wednesday. Two more accused named Himanshu and Ankit were arrested by the police in connection with the same and they are being questioned further.
So far, the police have arrested four accused in the case while the prime accused named Ashvin Siroliya was on the run till the filing of the report. The arrested accused are being questioned about the on the run accused, police said. On Monday, the police booked more than two dozen people for attacking Nema’s house in Chhatripura area. The accused entered the house of Nema after chasing a person after which they damaged Nema’s house and fled. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV installed there.
