Two more dengue cases report in Gurugram, total cases to 312

Gurugram: The overall number of dengue cases in Gurugram has risen to 312 after the district health authority found two more patients on Wednesday, November 25. The department has sent samples for testing from 32 suspected patients in the last 24 hours. So far, 5,363 suspected dengue patients have been identified by the department.

On Wednesday, a joint team from the Health Department and the Municipal Corporation Gurugram (MCG) examined over 16,000 houses. During this time, the team found mosquito larvae in 149 homes and sent notices to 62 households.

The health department's Rapid Mass Fever Survey has covered 7,236 homes as of Wednesday. There were 1,567 in the city and 5,669 in the countryside. The fever study has reached a total of 7,45,000 homes thus far. So far, only one dengue death has been reported in the district.

"People should take precautions to avoid contracting dengue fever. Teams from the health department and the MCG are inspecting homes for stagnant water or larvae inside coolers, pots, utensils, tyres, or other similar things, and giving violations notices.
