New Delhi: Two nuns and two adolescent girls were taken off after an ABVP worker complained about a train from Delhi to Rourkela. The ABVP activist suspected that two nuns were taking two teenage girls for conversion. Both nuns were residents of Kerala. On the complaint of the worker, both the nuns and the girls were taken off at Jhansi station. He was interrogated for an hour. He was later flagged off by another train.

In fact, two teenagers along with two nuns onboard the B-2 coach of Utkal Express were traveling from Delhi to Rourkela. Ajay Shankar Tiwari, an All India Students Council (ABVP) worker in the B-1 coach of the train, was also traveling. She complained to GRP that two nuns were carrying two girls with her. She doubted that the nuns had forcibly changed the conversion of the two girls. Ajay has also briefed the workers of ABVP and Hindu Jagran Manch on the phone. After which people from several organizations reached Jhansi station. The two nuns and girls were then taken off the train and brought to GRP police station.

The ABVP activist had sought registration of a case by making a written complaint in the case. Her complaint was questioned by nuns and girls for about an hour at the GRP police station. Their papers were checked. The police later found the complaint false in the investigation. GRP did not file the case due to the allegation not being correct. Later, both the nuns and the girls were rushed by another train.
