Misarrangements lead to fatal accidents in Mumbai , two died.

In an incident on  a flyover in Mumbai, Manik Pawar, 24 years old  boy  was crushed by a road roller at the construction site of a new flyover in Chunabhatti on the Eastern express highway.

Pawar is a resident of Jalna and  had come to Mumbai with his brother in search of work. Manish and his brother Ganesh were employed with a private contractor engaged by J kumar for road repairing work. 

“The driver was reversing the road roller and didn’t see the man who was spreading tar on the road. We have arrested the driver,” said a police officer from Chunabhatti police station.

The driver ,Yasin Pathn  who is 48 years old was bailed later.

 

The second mishap took place in Vikhroli, in which a bike skid resulting in the death of Ashok Vishwakarma,  40 years old,who suffered serious head injuries. Pillion rider Mahesh Asudkar who is 42 years old, has been arrested for rash and negligent driving. 

Ashok was spotted dead on the place of accident itself. The police thereafter took control of the crowd.

“The men were heading to Raigad from Malad while the accident took place at the Gandhinagar flyover at Vikhroli,” said Vilas Jadhav, senior inspector, Parksite police station.

 It is very important to be aware of the road happenings once you are driving, a little negligence can cause serious accidents and loss of life and property. we must be very  careful and should  strictly follow traffic rules.
