New Delhi: The Delhi Police has arrested three persons in connection with the murder of Sidhu Musewala. Two of them are the shooters, while the third is the kingpin of the module that carried out the murder of Punjabi singer and Congress Moussewala. The Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested them from Kutch in Gujarat. Police said on Monday (June 20, 2022) that a huge quantity of weapons and explosives were also recovered from their possession. These include 8 grenades, 3 pistols and about 50 bullets.

According to the police, the accused were in touch with Goldie Brar before the murder. The reiki drivers had told that Moussewala was roaming around freely without any security. After the murder, the accused called and informed about the completion of the work. One of the three miscreants arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police has been identified as Priyavrat alias Fauji. He is said to be the kingpin of the module that killed Musewala. It is alleged that It was Priyavrat who had plotted the murder. Priyavrat was in touch with Goldy Barad at the time of the murder. According to reports, priyavrat had also appeared in a CCTV installed at a petrol pump in Fatehgarh before the murder of Musewala.

Apart from Priyavrat, one of the two shooters who have been arrested is Kashish alias Kuldeep and the other is Keshav Kumar. Kuldeep is a resident of Jhajjar in Haryana. Kuldeep had also appeared in the CCTV in Fatehgarh. At the same time, Keshav Kumar had helped all the shooters escape after the murder of Musewala. On May 29, 2022, Moosewala was shot dead by assailants in Mansa district of Punjab. 30 bullets were fired at them indiscriminately. Sidhu Musewala was killed a day after the Bhagwant Mann government in Punjab withdrew his security.
