The case that has come to light recently is from the Giridih district of Jharkhand. In this case, two women and a man were forcibly drunk on suspicion of being witch-hunting in Jhinjri Mohalla of the town police station area. Five persons have been named in the case, four of whom have been arrested and detained by the police. According to reports, the video of the incident has gone viral and the police at the Nagar police station has come into action.
The police have filed a complaint based on the statement of the victim. Talking about this, Nagar police officer Adikant Mahato said, "The names of five persons have been revealed in the incident. Four of them have been arrested and raids are underway to arrest one of the accused," police said, adding that "the victims were threatened by putting pepper in their eyes."
The victims are women and accused are relatives and at first, the victims did not say anything to anyone, but on Monday, one of the victims reached the police station and lodged a complaint. In a complaint to the police, the victim said that "a woman had been sick for a few days. Despite the treatment, she was unable to recover. My brother and Nadhad also arrived to see him. At the same time, the family members of the sick woman attacked our house.
