The case that has come up recently is astonishing. The dead body of two women was found in Mudukurani in the district on last Tuesday. In the initial investigation, Police found that it is a case of robbery. It is being told that gold and other valuables are missing from the house.
While talking about the matter, the police sources said that the house where the murder took place is of Stephen (38), a soldier of the Indian Army, who is currently posted in Ladakh. Apart from this, it has been revealed that Stephen's mother Rajkumari (60) and wife Sneha (30) are among the dead. In this case, Police have expressed suspicion that "Unknown attackers entered the house and carried out the murder incident of the two women living alone, then escaped with gold jewellery and valuables".
Ramanathapuram District Superintendent of Police V. Varun Kumar (additional charge of Sivaganga district) went there on the spot as soon as the police got information in this matter. He then hired fingerprint specialists and worked with the help of investigative dogs. Police have filed a case of murder with intent to rob and started an investigation. According to the information received, Ram Mayalavagyan, DIG of Ramanathapuram range, visited the spot and collected all the news about the incident. Now, in this case, police have also found injury marks on the bodies of two women.
