Surajpur: Two youths died late Sunday night at Ramnagar in the district. While a young man remains in critical condition. The three youths had landed in the well to rescue the fallen cattle. On the information Monday morning, the administration team reached the spot and launched a rescue operation. At present, the work of evacuating the bodies of the two youths from the well is underway.

It is reported that the well was filled with water, but it was not being used for many years. According to information, all the three youths of Patrapara village are being reported in Ramnagar of Bishrampur police station area. It is reported that the cattle of a rural youth had fallen into the well at around 11 pm on Sunday night. The cattle owner took two other youths with him and went down in the well to save the cattle.

In the meantime, the leakage of the poisonous gas began and the three were engulfed. Two youths died from suffocating due to gas leakage.  On receipt of information, local villagers gathered on the spot and started an attempt to rescue the third youth. Somehow, after a great effort, he could be ejected. However, his condition remains too serious.
