Muzaffarnagar, Police arrested two youths for allegedly harassing two girl students in Kotwali police station area here.

One of the convict is a relative of a local SP leader. According to the police, “Adnan, brother-in-law of Samajwadi Party city president Rashid Siddiqui, and Tahiruddin harassed the girls following which they reached the police station, along with their family members and others, and lodged a complaint”.

The case under under section 354 of IPC was registered against accused on the basis of complaint.

Police arrested the duo as well as supporters of the accused also gathered at the police station protesting the arrest.
