Beijing: Lekissa storm continues to wreak havoc in China The lekmay storm has claimed 28 lives so far in China's Chang'e-1 province. At 20 people are reported to be missing. According to the latest information provided by China's Central Meteorological Department, the typhoon has hit China's Changsu Province at 10 p.m. last Saturday.

According to meteorologists, storm was expected to hit China's western yellow sea by midday on Aug. 11, while the storm was expected to hit the coast of Shantu Province by evening. Chinese cities of Changchang, Shanghai and Chiangsu Have been severely affected by the Lekima storm. As of 5 p.m. on August 10, 41.70 lakh people in these three provinces are in the grip of a cyclone. 10 lakh 10 thousand people have been evacuated to safer places.

Not only that, the storm has also devastated crops in these provinces, with the area of crops affected by the storm reaching 1.39 million hectares. The disaster has also destroyed nearly 25,000 houses. This has directly caused huge economic losses of 10 billion yuan to China.
