Coimbatore: Recently, burning tyres have been found in front of three temples located here today i.e. on Saturday. After getting these tyres, Bharatiya Janata Party workers and radical Hinduist organizations have spoken about taking action against the culprits. According to the available information, the police have talked about this. Yesterday, on Friday itself, the social reformer EV Ramasamy 'Periyar' statue was painted saffron.

After that, this incident has happened today, due to which people are angry. While taking action based on the complaint of the people living here, the police has extracted CCTV footage. In this footage, a person was seen carrying a tyre lying outside a nearby garage this morning and burning it in front of the Makaliyamman temple. While talking about the matter, the police said that 'the person broke a planks and bulbs there and a trident set in front of the temple turned black with the smoke of the burning tires'. Workers of BJP, Hindu Munnani, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and other fundamentalist Hindu organizations gathered in the area as soon as the news was received about this matter. They started demanding to arrest all the culprits.

In this case, a large amount of police force has been deployed in the area. Tamil Nadu BJP vice-president Vanti Srinivasan urged the city police commissioner to take action against mischievous elements. The trident kept outside the temple has been damaged. In this regard, the police said that in the second incident a burning tire was found in front of Vinayakar temple near the railway station and the third incident occurred in the Nellampalayam area where a burning tire was found in front of Selvavinayakar temple. Police is now working on this for further information.
