New Delhi: UAE has lifted the ban on entry of persons fully vaccinated against the corona vaccine. The UAE said it will approve the return of fully vaccinated people with the corona vaccine approved by the WHO. The list of removed travel restrictions includes 14 such countries including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Namibia, Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, South Africa, Nigeria, and Afghanistan.
People from these countries have also been allowed to fly to the UAE from September 12. The decision to lift the travel ban comes as Dubai prepares to open the Expo 2020 World Fair on October 1 after a year's delay due to the coronavirus epidemic. The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority shared an official statement in a tweet and said that those who can return include those who stayed abroad for more than six months.
Even fewer corona cases in the country are the reason for lifting the ban:- In fact, the daily number of corona-infected cases in the country has declined behind such a decision. Since last week, the daily cases have come down to less than 1,000, while the vaccination rate has gone up to 92 percent, the highest in the world after Malta. If the same corona is not completely finished yet, it is important that we take proper protection and use masks compulsorily in public places.
