Gandhinagar witnessed a momentous event as UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan took the stage at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024 held at the Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre. His address not only highlighted the robust relationship between the UAE and India but also emphasized the strong bond with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Post his speech, Prime Minister Modi praised President Al Nahyan on social media, commending his uplifting remarks. "My brother, His Highness Sheikh @MohamedBinZayed not only oversaw the @VibrantGujarat summit but also delivered an inspiring speech," PM Modi shared on X.

Welcoming President Al Nahyan to India, PM Modi referred to him as "my brother," expressing gratitude for his visit. The warm reception was evident in the shared images capturing the heartfelt embrace and friendly gestures between the two leaders at Ahmedabad airport.

The duo further engaged in a vibrant roadshow in Ahmedabad before the Summit commenced. The enthusiastic welcome extended by the people of Ahmedabad reflected the anticipation surrounding PM Modi and President Al Nahyan's visit.

Notable figures including Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra, and other dignitaries graced the occasion.

During their visit, India and the UAE solidified their collaboration by signing multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) in various sectors. These included agreements on renewable energy, healthcare projects, food park development, and initiatives for sustainable ports.

The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, inaugurated in 2003 during PM Modi's tenure as Chief Minister, has now reached its tenth edition, scheduled from January 10-12, 2024, under the theme 'Gateway to the Future.'

This milestone edition marks "20 Years of Vibrant Gujarat as the Summit of Success" and boasts participation from 34 Partner countries and 16 Partner organizations. Additionally, the Ministry of Development of North-Eastern Region aims to showcase investment opportunities in the North-Eastern regions leveraging the platform offered by Vibrant Gujarat.
