The Uber XS category for Bajaj Qute has been launched by Uber announcing its partnership with Bajaj Auto. Now customers on the Uber APP will get the new Uber XS ride category, where customers will be able to choose the ride of Bajaj Qute. The service has been launched for Uber users from June 13. The point to be noted here is that the service is now only for Bengaluru. That is, customers living in other places cannot use this ride category. In the meanwhile, Bengaluru customers can choose a ride using the Uber XS category by visiting their Uber App. Confined to parts this ride will stay up to the Indiranagar, Koramangala, HSR layout and the outer ring road of Bengaluru.

Nandini Maheshwari who heads Uber India and South Asia's business development said on the matter, "we are happy to partner with India's most trusted brand Bajaj Auto. We are delighted to launch Bajaj Qute at Bengaluru on the Uber XS. Uber's effort has always been to use new technology and make travel easier. The partnership will also reduce traffic prices. "

The company has provided 216 cc, single-cylinder, twin spark engines in Bajaj Qute for power. It is available in mono-fuel version. I.e. the client could use it either petrol or CNG in any one way. Its petrol variants generate maximum power of 13 bhp at 5500 rpm and peak torque of 18.9 Nm at 4000 rpm. The CNG variants generate maximum power of 10 bhp and peak torque of 16 Nm. Its engine is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox.
