Mumbai: Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray has not attended any public function or is coming to office for the past 45 days. In fact, he had a throat operation in the past, since which he has been recovering. Maharashtra BJP President Chandrakant Patil has now made a big statement after the CM did not come to office for more than a month and a half. He said CM Uddhav Thackeray should hand over his charge to someone else till he recovers.
He said that his absence will not be considered correct due to the winter session of the Maharashtra Assembly. Patil further said uddhav does not believe in Congress and NCP so hand over the charge to minister of state and his son Aditya Thackeray. Patil said how long will such work work be done as the administration cannot run without the CM, every work requires a chief minister. In that case, somebody else should give this charge. Patil said the best thing would be that Aditya thackeray can be made cm.
On the other hand, CM Uddhav's son and minister Aditya Thackeray has attacked Patil's statements saying that my father is perfectly healthy and will return to work in a few days. He termed Patil's statement as baseless. Union Minister Ramdas Athawale has also reacted to Chandrakant Patil's statement. He has said that if Chief Minister Uddhav is not in good health and the CM has to make someone else, make Devendra Fadnavis. Bjp and Shiv Sena's two-and-a-half year formula can come here and come together.
