Mumbai: A hoax call on Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's residence 'Matoshree' has created a sensation. Now the security has been increased. Around 10.30 p.m. last Saturday night, a man called and said that he was speaking from Dubai and introduced himself as underworld don Dawood Ibrahim aide. According to a news website, Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab says it was a fake call.

In addition, he said last Sunday evening, "A call was received on Matoshree yesterday. The caller said he was associated with Dawood Gang and wanted to talk to the Chief Minister. However, this was not a threatening call. The police will investigate whether it was a fake call," The website quoting an employee of Matoshree said, "The caller had called Matoshree twice and said Dawood Ibrahim wanted to talk to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray."

The employee also said, "However, the telephone operator did not transfer the call to the Chief Minister. The caller did not reveal his identity, saying he was calling from Dubai," he added,the local police had been informed and Matoshree's security had been increased. The police is currently trying to get information on the matter.
