The University Grants Commission (UGC) has recently approved 28 teaching posts in 4 new departments approved for Jamia Millia Islamia. Four new departments like foreign languages, climate change, hospital management and design have been started by the university. According to the information received, on the request of the university, the UGC has approved seven posts in each department, including one professor, two associate professors and four assistant professors. Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Prof. Najma Akhtar, while addressing the JMI fraternity, announced that four new departments would be opened in the university soon.

According to the information received from the sources, Prof. Akhtar thanked the UGC for granting these courses, said that these new courses would help in preparing the students for the employment opportunities available in the market. He said that in future we have planned to introduce more such courses in the university.

Let us tell you that four new departments will be started soon by Jamia Milia Islamia. Four new departments like foreign languages, climate change, hospital management and design are being started by the university. University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Najma Akhtar said that with the start of these four departments, courses providing employment opportunities to the students under them are also going to be started.
