Ratlam: There is a war going on all over the country regarding Ramcharitmanas. On the one hand, leaders are making absurd statements to get political benefits. On the other hand, Ramcharitmanas is being recited 24 hours a day for the last 7 years in a small village in the Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh. For this, a group of 130 people recites in shifts.

According to media reports, the tradition of reading Ramcharitmanas has been going on since 1985 in the Panched village of Ratlam district. But in the year 2016, there was a big change in this tradition. In fact, in 2016, the Simhanstha Kumbh Mela was organized in Ujjain, the city of Mahakal. This event had such an effect on the people of Panched village that the people of the village decided to recite Ramcharitmanas throughout the year. However, the decision was challenging for the villagers. The biggest question was how will Akhand Ramcharitmanas be recited for 365 days and 24 hours a year.

However, after this, the villagers formed a group of 130 people. This group was divided into 4-4 members. Along with this, everyone was assigned the task of reciting Ramcharitmanas for one hour each. The people happily accepted this act of virtue. Since then, for the last 7 years, in the temple of Mahadev and Hanuman ji located in village Panched, every day for 24 hours, the couplets of Ramcharitmanas are echoing. The recitation of Akhand Ramcharitmanas being done in the village for the last 7 years is affecting the youth here as well.
