According to the news, when the grandmother reached the Ghanshyampur police station to file a case against the accused uncle, her case was not registered in the police station. After this, the grandmother reached the district child protection unit located in Darbhanga collectorate. Later, on the initiative of the Child Protection Unit, a case has been registered against the accused uncle in this case in the Mahila police station. In this case, the victim's mother-father has died, the minor girl's parents have already died and since then the child was living with the grandmother in the uncle's house.
The grandmother told the district child protection unit that for the last 6 months, the accused was raping a minor girl. Regarding the matter, the woman police station officer Seema Kumari said that on the complaint of the grandmother, a case has been registered against the accused. Action will be taken after further investigation.
