Painful: Uncontrolled car rammed into truck, many died on the spot

Lucknow: Five people have lost their lives in a road accident in Upazila's Rampur late on Friday night. Reports say that an uncontrolled car rammed into the truck here. Six people, including the driver, were on board the crashed car, out of which five lost their lives on the spot. The driver was badly injured in the accident and is undergoing treatment.

The accident took place in the Tanda police station area of Rampur district. All the six occupants of the car were returning to their home Moradabad after attending a marriage ceremony in Swar town on the UP-Uttarakhand border. In the meantime, the car went unchecked and rammed into the truck moving ahead. Police, who rushed to the spot on receiving the information, have sent the bodies of the deceased for post-mortem. At the same time, the injured driver has been taken to the district hospital for treatment.
 
According to Tanda SDM Rajesh Kumar, the incident took place in the Shekampur area of Tanda. There is a crossroads near the spot. It is feared that the car has gone unchecked after passing through the speed breaker here. Those who died in the accident have been identified as residents of Jayantipur in Moradabad. All the victims of the accident were in an Eeco car. The truck with which the uncontrolled car collided is also being ascertained. 

Where it is learnt that a major road accident took place in Unnao in UP on Friday. Here the truck overturned on the PRV car parked on the roadside. All the soldiers present in the PRV were crushed when the truck overturned, in which 3 soldiers lost their lives. Along with which one soldier was seriously injured in the accident. The dead include two women constables and a male constable. The incident took place near Mahdi Khera Puliya in Safipur Kotwali of Unnao.
