Unemployment is rapidly increasing in this state, surprising figures revealed

Patna: The central and state governments make many claims about employment. But in the meantime, the data released by the National Career Service Portal (NCSP) is unlocking the floodgates of government claims. NCSP data shows that the number of unemployed youth in Bihar has increased three times in the last year. As of March 2021, the total number of unemployed youth registered on the website in the state was 78,00,259 and in the last 10 months, the figure has increased up to 2,67,635. NCSP is a government portal where unemployed youth register their names, and state governments and the Centre provide them jobs according to their profiles and through recruitment processes.

According to the same data, the registration on the portal in 2021 was 3 times more than in 2020 in Bihar. In October 2021, a maximum of 63,524 persons registered their names on the portal. In addition, 7,967 people registered in June 2021, 18,017 in July, 20,968 in August, 53,906 in September, 62,983 in November, 20,766 in December, and 13,000 in January this year.

In the last 10 months, 222 transgenders have also registered their names as unemployed youth on the portal. The highest number of 28 transgenders registered their names from Vaishali district, two from Araria, four from Aurangabad, one from Banka, 11 from Begusarai, 4 from Bhojpur, Bhagalpur 1, Jehanabad 1, Kaimur 5, Katihar 8, Khagaria 2, Kishanganj 1, Lakhisarai 6. Madhepura 3, Madhubani 1, Munger 5, Muzaffarpur 13, Nalanda 9, Nawada 3, West Champaran 4, Patna 11, East Champaran 13, Purnia 3, Rohtas 4, Samastipur 8 and Saran 9 have registered their names.
