Meerut: In Uttar Pradesh, four people were killed when a tractor trolley carrying bricks overturned in Thana Kharkhoda area of Meerut district. According to Kharkhoda police, a tractor-trolley loaded with bricks collided head-on with an unidentified vehicle near 9 Gaza Pir on Meerut-Hapur road this morning.

The tractor driver, Furakan, informed the police about the incident and said that he was on his way to Hapur from Jola village by loading brick in a tractor trolley. Four laborers were sitting in the trolley. The tractor overturned uncontrollably when a vehicle collided head-on near nine Gaza Pir, trapping all four workers under bricks.

The four laborers were seriously injured when they were buried under the brick and died on the way to the hospital. All four youths are residents of Muzaffarnagar. The tractor driver has registered a case against the unidentified driver. Police have filled up the Panchnama of the dead bodies and sent them for post mortem. The tractor driver was moderately injured in the accident. While the unidentified driver has been admitted to the local hospital for treatment, the unidentified driver is being searched.
