Union Budget 2017: Agricultural sector will have a diverse change in 2017-18

Indian finance minister Arun Jaitley presented the Union Budget 2017 in Parliament. Jaitley's addressal before the initiation of announcement of the Union Budget 2017 included various issues of the Nation about vulnerable children and women, industrial sector, agriculture, health and many more.

Agricultural sector will include the following schemes:

1. Farmers will be provided by the loan of 10 lakhs crore.

2. In upcoming 5 years, farmers' income will be raised two times.

3. Sowing funds will be provided to the farmers have increased up to five thousand crore.

4. Dairy development project NABARD will be funded with the amount Rs. 8,000 crore.

5. Government will work to improve nearly 10 lakh ponds for the agricultural sector.  

6.Government to set up 'Krishi vigyan kendras' lab for issuance of soil health cards.
