Indian finance minister Arun Jaitley presented the Union Budget 2017 in Parliament. Jaitley's addressal before the initiation of announcement of the Union Budget 2017 included various issues of the Nation about vulnerable children and women, industrial sector, agriculture, health and many more.

Post demonetization has come up with the major digitalised transactions, government affirmed new policies and funds to expand digital India.

Digital India schemes includes:

1. Government will create 'JAM Yojana' to manage the transaction traffic.
2. 2,500 thousand crores to be funded for Digitization of the India.
3. New policy will be announced for business dealers, 'cash back yojana'.
4. Aadhar card transactions will be possible for those who do not have credit/debit cards.
5. 20 lakh new Aadhar machines will be allotted.
6. Strict laws to be passed for 'check bounce issues'.
7. Banking transactions have made essential for the exchange of more than Rs. 3 lakh.
