Union Budget 2017: TB and Kala Azar to be eliminated till 2025

Indian finance minister Arun Jaitley presented the Union Budget 2017 in Parliament. Jaitley's addressed before the initiation of an announcement of the Union Budget 2017 included various issues of the Nation about vulnerable children and women, industrial sector, agriculture, health and much more.

Human resource health recovery policies are to be implemented, which will eliminate dangerous diseases like Tuberculosis, Measles, Kala Azar, and Filariasis.

Health schemes include: 

1. The government aimed to eliminate Tuberculosis till the year 2025, Measles till 2020.

2. Kala Azar and Filariasis will be taken into concern first.

3. Nearly 1.5 lakhs health centers and health sub-centers will be created to improvise the quality service.

4. The government will set up new All India of Medical Sciences(AIIMS) at Jharkhand and Gujarat.
