New Delhi: The second time in the Modi government, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, who became cabinet minister, took over her Facebook page on Tuesday to take over in the Delhi-based food processing ministry. Going live on Facebook, Harsimrat said that Prime Minister Modi's dream is to double the income of the farmers of the country by 2022. It is the central government's main objective to meet this goal.

As per the information received from sources, Badal said that till 2022, the farmer's son would not have to go out to find a job but would be fit to give himself a job. All this will be possible when farmers have the right processing of their crops. For this, 70 thousand food processing micro-units will be installed by the Ministry of Food processing for the next one year.
With this, the target is to set up ten lakh units across the country in the next five years. For this, they will grant the prime Minister a new policy for the food processing sector. Badal said that Gram Samridhi Yojana is being brought together with the World Bank in the coming period. The union minister said that her special focus will be on the rural areas of the country and strive to increase the maximum employment.
