New Delhi: After the BJP's Jammu and Kashmir unit president Ravindra Raina was found to be Corona positive, Union Minister Jitendra Singh and BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav have self-isolated. Udhampur MP Jitendra Singh posted on social media, 'After confirming that Ravindra Raina was found to be Corona positive, he has now isolated himself from Tuesday at 4 o'clock. He has further said that we went with him to Bandipura. Singh, along with BJP general secretary Ram Madhav, Raina, and others, had come to show excitement on July 12 at the house of Wasim Bari in Bandipura, North Kashmir.
According to the information received, Jammu and Kashmir BJP state head Ravindra Raina went to Srinagar to attend the funeral of BJP leader Wasim Wari who was killed by terrorists in Bandipur recently. Meanwhile, he was touring the valley for 5 days. The tour along with Raina included the Minister of State in the PM's office, Dr. Jitendra Singh, BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav, Organization General Secretary Ashok Kaul, former MLC Vibodh Gupta, and many other party leaders. Now, when he comes positive, the risk of getting infected by these leaders is also increasing.
The BJP state president gave this information from his tweeter handle saying that he is corona positive. He remained in Bandipore for 5 days after the murder of BJP leader Wasim Wari, his brother Omar Sultan and his father in Bandipore by terrorists. He had a mild fever on Tuesday morning. On the suggestion of the Ministry of Health, he sent a sample for Corona, which has been found positive. After which Ravindra Raina was immediately admitted to Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Super Specialty Hospital Kakriyal for treatment.
